Scope of Work:
The Workshop Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a heavy machine industry workshop, ensuring that all equipment, machines and tools are well-maintained and ready for use, through managing the team and their work.
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
Manage and motivate a team of technicians and mechanics, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, tools and equipment to carry out their work.
Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules, ensuring that all machines and equipment are well-maintained and ready for use at all times.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations and standards are adhered to by all staff members in the workshop.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and materials, ensuring that they are available when needed and at a reasonable cost.
Provide regular reports on the workshop’s performance, including budget and cost analysis, productivity, and quality metrics
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Proven +5 years of experience in managing a workshop in a heavy machine industry setting
Proven experience in the reporting and handling issues related to main dealers.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of technicians and mechanics.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of heavy machine industry equipment and tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
Strong Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
