This position is a key role that will fill the website project manager role required to manage, oversee and ensure smooth execution and delivery with our web developer to execute the 3 GBF websites, 3 apps and CVENT integration (Website contract value 150kGBP) and over arching domain for the GBF portfolio worth (over 4million GBP).


How will you contribute?

Lead, develop, and implement the web and app projects for all GBF’s and ensure they stay within budget, scope of work and adheres to deadlines as signed off by client

Work with the team to identify and solve communication challenges

Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure that plans for communication management are in alignment with the project plan

Create, manage, troubleshoot, restore, put into action, and oversee websites

Oversee the construction of the website and ensure it runs smoothly and on time

Work with the developer and design team on the interface of the web project

Create languages and codes useful for the development, troubleshooting, test running, and execution of the website

Responsible of training the team on how the website works

Check all website and app codes to ensure that they are compatible with modern web browsers and are not out of date – submit a report of findings to the Senior Marketing Manager outlining what doesn’t work/could be improved

Double check updates made by other members of the team to ensure that the codes run well

Trail errors and ensures that they are fixed

Make provisions for the new catalog and ensure they are updated on the website consistently

Research and recommend applications/ plugins useful to the website, how much they cost and why they should be invested in

Develop good relationship with stakeholders, vendors, structural team, and other IT team members

Once a week, compile and implement all web updates required from the team

Implement urgent fixes/web updates to correct errors as soon as they’re flagged

Experience, skills and professional attributes

The ideal skills for this role are:

Degree in Web Design and/or other web related courses

Experience as a web project manager is an advantage

Good knowledge of programming language like JAVA Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), PHP, JOOMLA

Good knowledge of easy content management integration

Ability to design, develop, upgrade, and maintain web projects

Good knowledge of search engine …
