Responsibilities :JOB ROLE


The candidate would be responsible for editing and uploading content into company content portal on a day to day basis.

The candidate would manage and segregate incoming news feeds and pictures based on the content architecture of the web site.

The candidate would be responsible for the day to day content rotation of the web site as well as the quality of the content and pictures.

The candidate would also engage externally with senior ICT executives of the regional ICT industry, news agencies and specialist contributors.

The candidate would engage internally with sub editors, internal writers and photographers.

EXPERIENCE

Candidate should have worked previously in online content portals. The candidate must be comfortable editing and understanding regional ICT and

business content and must be able to work as per schedule. The candidate would also be expected to managed the social media sites in terms of content

uploading and rotation.

– At least 3-5 years of digital web site background in a content position

– Exposure or knowledge of social media communities ie Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Blogs

– Must have high degree of competency in editing ICT and business content

– Must be able to sustain acceptable quality level of edited content and pictures

– Must be able to converse with senior ICT executives, news agencies, specialist contributors

– Must be able to work internally with sub editors, internal writers and photographers
