Greet the guest politely as they enter the restaurant.
Introduce self to Guest.
Guide the Guest to their tables.
Present menus to customers
Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the menu items and daily specials
Explain the menu items in terms of preparation, ingredients and presentation
Be aware of allergy information on menu items
Answer inquiries about food and beverage items on the menu
Offer food and beverage suggestions
Inform Guests of special items not listed on the menu
Take food and beverage orders accurately including any special requests
Check food orders with guest to ensure correctness
Input the order into POS System
Coordinate with kitchen staff to process and expedite food orders
Pre-set table for the orders
Deliver and serve food at tables
Ensure customers are satisfied with their food orders, beverages and service
Upsell food and beverage items throughout the meal
Maintain the table setting by clearing courses as completed, replacing utensils, refreshing water glasses, dealing with spills.
Prepare and provide customers with accurate check for the meal
Comply with safety, health and hygiene policies and procedures
Follow all relevant health department regulations as per local Law
Performing other duties as asked by immediate reporting head
Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
Always answer the phone politely using a friendly tone and being informative, asking basic questions the time they would like to dine, how many guests, under what name they would like the reservation, the phone number, if there is any special occasion or requirements Once all of the information is obtained, repeat it to the guest for confirmation.
The telephone must be answered on a maximum of three rings,· Seats guests and manage the seating chart.
Monitor’s restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.· Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
Managing reservations, on daily basis prepare reservation list coordinate with station holder and share the printout with the section holder and Kitchen·
Greet customers upon their departure· Maintain a clean reception area· Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries· Notify the Manager, Assistant Manager and supervisor of any special arrangement request.· Cross sell the special arrangement.
If there are any complaints, retrieve a manager or supervisor immediately· Informing the lobby team on the guest departure to ensure the guest vehicle is at the entrance.
