The primary purpose of this role and the major (overall) responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing all activities regarding the Real Estate & Hotel which include Hotel Operations, Real Estate Development, Real Estate Operations, and Investment & Business Development and to ensure all operations of the same are in line withADG’svision and business plans.
The key roles & responsibilities associated with this role:
Strategy Formulation
Lead the development and implementation of the Real Estate & Hotels Division Strategy in line withADG’sstrategic direction.
Develop the strategic objectives & KPIs for the Division, review the operating results for the departments under management, and ensure that the desired results are achieved through monitoring of the set measures.
Budget & Cost Control
Ensure the development of the Division’s annual budget and ensure maintaining costs and expenditures within the set budget.
Policies & Processes
Define & develop Policies & Processes for the Division and ensure they are in line withADG’sstandards, applicable laws, and the regulations of the respective country of operations and ensure proper implementation of the same by allADGemployees.
Continuous Improvement
Continuously improve the Division’s processes and activities while considering best practices, changes in international standards, and changes in the business environment.
People Management
Ensure the timely development and proper implementation of the Manpower and Training plans.
Conduct the annual performance appraisal for subordinates and recommend salary increments and promotions accordingly.
Reports
Review reports submitted by subordinates utilizing business metrics and KPI measurement covering HR related activities aiming at indicating performance.

Oversee the performance level ofADG’sreal estate and hotel portfolios and explore ways to further improve them.
Oversee all projects in line with quality standards and ensure timely completion of all projects within the agreed budget and timescale.
Ensure that critical risks are mitigated and that issues during and post-project periods are investigated and resolved by subordinates.
Oversee all design management activities and offer guidance in any unexpected difficulties/ obstacles and other problems that may arise.
Ensure all property management activities are performed as perADG’sstandards and set guidelines.
Develop a division-wide tenant-centric culture in the Company while ensuring that the tenant’s needs are always put first and assure a positive tenant experience from any interaction with a tenant.
Ensure all property maintenance activities performed by 3rd parties are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
Oversee the Hotel Operations function and ensure that Hotel Operations are being executed as per the business plans in addition to ensuring that the Shared Services Division is providing the necessary support.
Oversee the development ofADG’sresources internationally, by identifying attractive markets new investment opportunities based on researched data and specialized reports.
Review investment plans and technical research/ studies relating toADG’sinvestments.
Ensure all facility management activities are implemented in a timely manner and provide guidance to subordinates when needed.
