Milliman Dubai is looking to recruit a care management nurse to support the following;
Implementation and training on using evidence-based care guidelines for utilization management across various healthcare providers and payers within the UAE and other GCC regions.

The successful candidate will have rich clinical experience, awareness of the GCC healthcare delivery system, and an understanding of medical coding. This professional will also need excellent presentation and communication skills. Good computer skills are also crucial.
As a Care Management Specialist nurse, this professional will join our team to assist in all phases of setting up care guidelines and care management functions across various healthcare facilities and payer organizations within the GCC region. We are looking for a person with the ability to:
Collaborate with our clinical, IT, and consulting teams and lead the work on projects, influence change management, drive training strategy, and coordinate project rollouts.
Assist with developing training strategies and delivering training on proper access and use of care guidelines to various clinical and non-clinical groups.
Utilize available tools to share training resources and information, training materials, track training activity, report on progress, and support implementation live cycle.
Support the care management guideline implementation process for our customers.
Work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
Work independently on assigned tasks, i.e. plan, organize, delegate, problem solve, and meet established deadlines.
Ability to travel across various regions within the GCC to work with customers. Also, there may be opportunities to travel to internal Milliman meetings in the U.S. and Europe.
Ability to learn value-driven new healthcare concepts and undergo formal certifications for knowledge assessment.
Skills and Requirements
This position requires the following minimum requirements:
Graduated from Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher and is currently a registered nurse.
Minimum six years of work experience in a multispecialty hospital as a nurse, with exposure to various clinical departments.
Excellent understanding of a patient’s journey within a healthcare system across different care settings, such as; inpatient, outpatient, and other allied services.
Excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to read and accurately interpret complex medical records.
Good knowledge of administrative work and hospital procedures.
Experience demonstrating the ability to design and drive training programs.
Familiar with international medical coding systems (such as ICD10, CPT, etc.).
Proficient in using computer care management and electronic medical records software. Also, able to use MS/Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Fluent in Arabic and English speaking and writing skills.
Experience working in a utilization management process.
