About the Role To use technical knowledge, expertise and judgement to ensure the consistent delivery of quality, safe, legal compliance and innovation which meet brand values and ensure categories meet UK principal standards.

Align with business direction in establishing local sourcing in the region and ultimately maximise sales and profitability of the Food business. Key Role Specific


Product compliance:
Audit customers’ expectations to keep profit Ensure compliance rule by countries is well implemented  Create Training Programs:
Implements training and awareness programs to ensure employees are up to date with quality systems and requirements according to UK requirements and local authorities in MENA. To ensures employees learn the importance of accuracy when mixing ratios, as well as understand the effect of parameters such as temperature on the quality of food. To ensure all best practise are implemented  Develop and Improve products:
Problem-solving skills and customer-based focus leading to a continuous improvement of goods and services. Improve the taste, preservation techniques and packaging solutions. Provide significant information to the production team about the final food products. Oversee the installation of defect tracking mechanisms  Coordinate the communication with UK for guarantying the quality of products and supply chain.  Implement and Monitor Quality Assurance System:
To implement and monitor procedures, standards and specifications aimed at meeting a company’s food quality KPI’s. To include requirements to study and implement new local, states and federal regulations as outlined by the Food and Drug Administration and ensure company’s compliance.  About You


University degree of biology and science Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
Technical qualification in a food related science or equivalent industry experience on Food and Hygiene / Food Science Solid experience and technical knowledge in managing suppliers and handing Food product compliance, information analysis, system and process (especially, MENA & Europe). With a wide network of supplier’s contacts and understanding of products safety, legal compliance and standard  Delivering expert professional advice and judgement.
