Title: Technology Consultant

As a technology consultant you will assist in all levels of technical account planning and accompany sales account managers on visits to customers and partners/resellers. The technology consultant will support the successful achievement of Information Builders sales targets by analyzing the technical needs and proving Information Builders ability to deliver the IT solutions proposed to prospects or existing customers.
Qualification & Skills required:
Must have good communication and presentation skills and be able to convey value to the customer.
Good knowledge in Linux / Windows OS
Strong networking/OSI fundamental knowledge
Good understanding of cyber security domains
Taking ownership of projects, Creative and time bound in managing/responding to concurrent requests from sales team.
Previous experience in pre-sales or deployment of security solutions is value added.
Ability to understand/write/troubleshoot scripts.
Desire to Innovate and Problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Participate in Pre-Sales activities including, but not be limited to, conducting Proof of Concepts (PoC),
Building BoQ’s, delivering product specific presentations and training… etc.
Technically enable partners/resellers on products and solutions to increase opportunity generation.
Working closely with internal sales team and customers, providing technical response to RFP/RFI with formally excellent and timely manner.
Assessing integration feasibility and value outcome of a security solution and conveying impact on customer business goals
Ability to work within a strategic framework as part of a team and as well as individual contributor to advise and implement security solutions in customer environment.
Keeping healthy relationship with Vendors / partners and customers
Working with cross functional teams to position products, solutions effectively to customer.
Good understanding of competitive products, security technologies and key differentiators to position right solutions to meet customer requirements.
