Job Description

The Technical Development Senior Officer is focused on implementing the learning strategy to ensure effective delivery of all designed and developed learning programs and initiatives that will support the skills and performance improvement of identified employees who will be upskilled or developed in new emerging and trending technologies.

Partnering with the technical business leads this role ensures that learning is delivered in line with the technologies that are being introduced to support the technical roadmap and new product releases in the market. They will support the assessment of talent, with a focus on UAE nationals to design future technology programs to ensure a pipeline of qualified and experienced employees to meet business demands in these key technologies.

Experience in developing technical training programs, with a view to trending and new technologies.

Qualifications related to training on technologies, in particular new technologies such as Cloud, Cyber Defense, AI, IoT etc.

Nice to have would also be operational experience of supporting technologies.

Ability to design compelling programs utilizing a blended approach, instructor led, online, virtual etc.

Track record of delivering successful technology programs through a partner ecosystem.

Experience of dealing with graduate entry level employees to build the foundation skills through a Graduate Program, advantage if this is for UAE Nationals.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Psychology or Internationally recognized qualification in Talent Development (CIPD, SHRM etc.).

6-8 years relevant experience in Talent Development in a senior role.

Proven history of successfully delivering Talent Development initiatives aligned to the Organizations Goals & Objectives.

Strong knowledge and experience of developing effective learning program sin new and emerging technologies.

Demonstrate good leadership and people management skills.

Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.

Depth of practical experience in both technical and non-technical learning initiatives.

Excellent inter-personal skills, verbal, written and active listening.

Maintains strong values of integrity, commitment, and self-improvement.

Exceptional planning and organization experience.

Ability to handle high levels of stress and manage time.
