SCOPE:This role will manage the execution of Project shipments & UAE Overland shipments
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implements the logistics plan and procedures for the designated
Selecting the most appropriate transport vendors, Heavy lift Transport & Lifting vendors,
Instructions for suppliers and contractors
Ensure all KPIs meet customer
Ensure all team meets the customer’s and BDP Internal deadlines
Conduct periodically review and improve the process flow and document process flow.
Carry out internal systems training to staff
Ensure billing is done correctly and timely.
Monitor all required data is updated into internal systems, or customer systems (according to procedures)
Reporting possible incidents to the manager
Record keeping of exceptional incidents and conduct investigation on incident with the recommended corrective action
Preparing reports required by customers and/or internal team
Ensuring that Objectives of the team are met and conducting a review 2 times per year together with the Manager
Job Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor´s degree or equivalent and additional qualifications in supply chain management will be helpful.
Experience of minimum 3years in team lead role in the logistics industry preferably in Project Forwarding
Knowledge and experience of Project forwarding operations
Working knowledge of the operations procedure in the country
Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
