Position: TEAM LEADER HUB OPERATIONS UAE DUBAI

JOB SUMMARY:

The role will be reporting to the Hub Gateway Manager/ Supervisor and will be responsible for the daily hub

operations and management of various hub resources according to service commitments .


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Accountable to ensure packages are sorted accurately & loaded into appropriate movements to next location.

•Collaborate with internal/external customers ensuring loads are processed according to service commitments.

•Analyze daily volume estimates from load forecast plans to ensure optimal staffing.

•Review daily operational reports to manage safety, performance & service.

•Holds team accountable for the execution of agreed plans of safety, service & production standards.

•Determines employees trainin needs to produce continuous development plans & ongoing feedback & supports to improve performance as well as increasing depth of knowledge.

•Trains employees on prescribed methods to reinforce compliance with UPS & regulatory training needs.

•Review, audit employee records & assists with initial & recurring trainings, coordinates training dates with Management to meet compliance standards.


•Collaborate on monthly regulatory audits for safety & compliance & to prepare for Airline Internal Audit Review depth of employees knowledge to ensure understanding of procedures.

•Assists management in resolving individual & group performance issues in accordance with UPS policies and procedures in a timely manner to help motivate & foster teamwork.

•Assists with coordination of CHSP activities to educate employees and attend employee safety meetings to review strategies for accident/injury prevention.

•Determines employees training needs to produce continuous development plans and provide ongoing feedback and support to improve performance as well as increasing depth of knowledge

•Participates in daily pre-sort meetings to discuss prior sort results and obtain current sort operational plans.

•Addresses unique sorting situations (e.g., peak seasons, special sorts, etc.) to implement adjustments that support successful operations

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:

•Bachelor s degre preferred

•High level of communication skills (written and spoken English)

•Must have knowledge of systems & equipment used in Hub operations

•Completes work with attention to detail, maintain records & information in an organized manner

•Must have knowledge of airline procedures, audit programs, governing agencies. Ramp experience is a MUST

•Must have thorough experience i MS Excel & MS PowerPoint, high level computer &administrative skills

•Must have Calogi and Sky Chain system experience

•Should be flexible with working hours

•Must have 2 years minimum experience in Hub Operations

•Must have Brokerage Knowledge (Dubai Trade)

•Preferential knowledge on Dangerous Goods.

•Must be pr ofessional and lead the team with a can-do attitude

•Able o work under pressure and with short deadlines.

•Preferential UAE Driving License.
