Job Description
The position also manages the Tour Guide team scheduling, tour updates, and training, and content to be addressed and updated on Multimedia devices.
For events, the position supports the execution and delivery of corporate events, entertainment and show production strategy; is responsible for planning and executing seasonal special events and provides support across daily entertainment offerings as needed i addition, the role works with stakeholders such as the Sales team and the Entertainment department as an active participant in achieving goals, ensuring consistent quality, sharing knowledge with the team, leading and supporting production and execution of events while maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace, guaranteeing high standards in the delivery of all operations and offerings and preserving values.
Operations Scope
Plan, book and deliver on and off job training as required to ensure best possible service standards as well as colleague development.
Openly communicate appropriate and useful information through various channels to include department meetings and briefings.
Ensure departmental policies, procedures and performance standards are being implemented and maintained throughout their area.
Review departmental policies, procedures and performance standards to ensure these are up to date, correct and propose changes as appropriate to ensure high levels of customer service and safety.
Ensure any service delivery defects are resolved and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their manager.
Review satisfaction results for their areas and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their manager.
Review accuracy of any checklists and records completed in their area and analyze.
Review and manage and effectively address team performance.
Participate in daily operations alongside their colleagues setting a positive example.
Foster a harmonious atmosphere among colleagues in their area and brings team members together through team activities.
Events Scope
Provides management and operational coverage at corporate and QAW events.
Leads and executes events to include:
Marquee and seasonal celebrations
Corporate functions
Team buildings
Static installations
Interactive guest activities
Events by the Sales team clients
Works within the existing brand and company guidelines while providing creative input into the overall development of events
Develops event operational guidelines for the facility as a whole and lead event operations
Provide the operational costs related to Events
Recommend the operational scheduling for the operation team and contractors
Provide strategic feedback on all aspects of event development, installation, operations to enhance future offerings.
Ability to develop and lead the execution of corporate and family events within a specific set of logistical criteria; report creation and distribution; schedules creation and execution; development of event materials.
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in operations, events and entertainment
Event management experience, project management.
