Supervisor, Warehouse

Head, Supply Chain
About the role:
Inventory Management for Raw Material, Finished Goods and Spare Parts as per set company policies and procedures.
You will be responsible to:
Upkeep the record of the stores in respect of material received /issued and balance lying in the Stores.
Arrange for unloading and stacking of the Raw Material, Packing Material, Lubricants and Spare Parts.
Ensure that all finished goods received are processed in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
Ensure that handling of finished goods is such so as to prevent damage and that all items are labelled and stored in accordance with specific storage conditions in compliance with Company policies.
Inspect all material received in the stores and arrange for the preparation of Goods Received Note (GRN) within 24 hours of the receipt of the goods.
Ensure preparation of Goods Received Information and Inspection Form (GRI&I) for all items of technical nature for their quality report from the respective indenter.
Review the stock position of all the off-shelve items on regular basis and prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR s) for items whose stock is at Re-Order Level.
Supervise all activities of Warehouse Section.
Ensure preparation of daily movement report of raw material and packing material.
Ensure preparation of monthly raw material, packing material and lubricants stocks reports for physical stock checking.
Ensure preparation of monthly raw material stock movement report.
Make sure that the proper documents are made.
Ensure the finished goods loaded carefully on the trucks and to prepare relevant documents
Ensure handing over of the documents and finished goods to the trucker/customer/customer’s representative after receiving acknowledgement from them.
Ensure keeping the dispatch hall clean and ensure proper stacking of finished products.
Understand and promotes health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) regulations, policies and procedures by practice and conducting safety awareness to ensure safe working environment is fulfilled prior conducting works.
Recommend policies and procedures for warehousing and shipping in accordance with regulations.
Ensure that the physical and administrative receipt, storage, and issue of goods is occurring in a timely and accurate manner. Assumes responsibility for movement/storage, safely handling and control/monitoring of inventory levels.
Accept or returns merchandise according to established procedures.
Ensure the security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, system review, and physical inventory count. Conducts inventory checks by running and analysing comparative reports on inventory balances daily.
Provide data and reports to help reconcile inventory discrepancies based on thorough investigations of transactional histories. Submits monthly activity reports detailing cycle count data, working inventories, and excess/shortage inventory and error rates.
