2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
Accountable for first line leadership and management of (specific discipline) team members to enable the work of self and team members and building their expertise and skills, and deliver frontline team results such as safety, production, maintenance, quality, cost and motivation.
3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualification:
1. High school certificate
2. Maths and Science preferred
3. Trade test / Formal Production qualification OR Diploma Engineering
4. Plus 2 years as Supervisor
Experience:
7 Years experience in relevant field of Artisan/Production

Advanced knowledge of statutory process compliance requirements, and understanding of the relevant regulatory and compliance issues specific to the Affiliate
Familiar with materials, services, financial and other planning related work methods

Planning, control and management of operations/maintenance activity

Take action on first occurrence performance problems, misconduct, disciplinary and grievance cases
Manage performance, training and career development of own team

Accountable for practical “declaration of competence” of employees to operate the plant
Participate in selection of staff (for own team) by being an active member on recruitment panels
Driving Saudization (recruitment, training & development) in own team
Ensure standard operating procedures are applied
Ensure compliance to PSM (Process Safety Management)
Drive Ma’aden Safety Culture Transformation Program
Manage certain start-up and shutdown tasks
Participate (or conduct on own team) in potential deviation analysis (PDA), root cause analysis (RCA) and risk assessments
Manage execution of work permit system
Conduct Task Risk Assessments and ensure that team conducts Task Risk Assessments (where applicable)
Ensure compliance to relevant Ma’aden procedure, policies, legislation and business processes
Manages safety and other company initiated interventions and ensure due roll out as per requirements
Ensure adherence to HSERQ legal standards and implement HSERQ processes for own area of responsibility
Ensure that modified plant/maintenance procedures are implemented by artisans
Writing and reporting
Ensure resources (e.g. raw materials, people) are available on site
Understand customer requirement and ensures product/service meets customer requirements
Ensure smooth transition of work from own shift to next shift
Identify and support inter-dependencies (synergies) with own and other departments within the value chain
