OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
>To provide accurate production & sales plan and shutdown plans, short term, long term production forecasts, analysis on plant performance against measured references (budget, forecast, design), and insight /analysis on how the plant is expected to perform along with continual development in the process.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
>Responsible to sustain high SHE and Quality standards.
>Manage Production Plans and Forecasts in a daily, monthly, and annual basis, or as required
Annual and + 4 years Production and sales Plan
Monthly rolling forecast for marketing
Other Production forecasts
>Manage to develop production scenarios to support production for decision making during periods of upsets / deviations.
Responsible to reply external queries (from Marketers in regard to Production forecast and inventory, from MWSPC) and internal queries (Finance, Operation).
>Responsible for Turnaround scheduling of all Major plants in coordination with external and internal parties
>Responsible for analyses of actual operations performance in terms of volume, specific consumption, and capacity utilization against design, business plan, and/or forecast, as applicable
>Interface with external and internal parties on Production plan & forecast:
Between Marketers and Operation (Shipment scheduling).
Between Finance and Operation (Business Plan and OPM).
Between MWSPC and MPC.
>Plant integration activities including plantwide energy, and P2O5 balances
>Act for Manager (DOA) when required
>Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate superior
>As applicable, ensure that all aspects pertaining to environment, health, safety, and energy efficiency are taken into consideration in the performance of duties
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
>Frequent contact with immediate superior. Frequent contacts at various levels within MPC, and with his counterparts. Frequent contact with external parties, e.g., MWSPC, Marketing teams.
Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY):
>Carry out tasks in accordance with general guidelines and established policies and professional standards. Will carry out duties with minimum daily supervision from superior. Completed assignments is subject to subsequent review.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Qualification:
>University Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering or similar)
Experience:
>Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a fertilizer manufacturing plant or equivalent
Skills:
>Interaction on manager / section head level
>Management reporting in an integrated chemical complex
>Attention to detail
>Troubleshooting
>Good computer skills in using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
