Job Description:
Responsible for the availability, maintainability and delivery of smelter Operation Technology overall Infrastructure and security appliances by taking care of the OT network environment such as: (Switches, Firewalls, Fiber optics, Vlans, Access points, etc.) and related systems (MES, OSI PI, Terminal servers, Reduction Control System ‘Alpsys’ Ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of Maaden Aluminum Production Systems and infrastructure that support core organizational functions. Responsible to verify and review the MES enhancement changes prior deployment on production environment and report any gap or shortfall that could impact MES or other interrelated system performance. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to other PCS Systems staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· 24 /7 Support, Availability and Business continuity management for PCS production infrastructure systems, network & applications.
· Ensure compliance to company EHS policies and standards.
. Continues Risk assessment of PCS production infrastructure systems, network & applications through GAP analysis and perform mitigation & enhancement plans.
. Ensure that proper procedures and documentation are developed and maintained area systems support the division.
. Asset and Life cycle management for PCS production infrastructure stakes (e.g., hardware, software, licensing, Switches, Firewalls, Fiber optics, Vlans, Access points) and OT applications.
. Ensure that all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
. Service delivery and incident management for the PCS production infrastructure with Weekly and monthly updates.
. Availability of the process systems infrastructure. Including servers, network and systems.
. Maintainability of the process systems infrastructure. Include valid support contracts with vendors and availability of critical spare parts.
. Maintainability of the process systems applications.
. Comply with all Cyber Security requirement include Patch management, Firewall control, Interfaces management, and User Control.
. Manage Infrastructure life cycle management and system improvement.
. Storage (VNXe, SC, HP, Unity etc.) & Backup (Avamar, Tape library, Ease us, offline) Administration, Monitoring and reporting.
. Achieve Plan KPI’s and drive continuous improvement.
. Communicate effectively with vendors and support providers to ensure systems health and activity completion on time.
. Ensure the application of Engineering Standards and the equipment Statutory Compliance
. Safety related & MSHEM compliance with all applicable regulations.
. Develop, implement, follow-up OT improvements in relation to availability, business continuity and performance.
. Regular communications with Maaden ICT and Cybersecurity governance teams to maintain UpToDate cybersecurity resilience and/or perform assessments.
. Communicate with HR from Maaden to keep track of departed employees.
