What you will be doing:

Develop and execute strategic account plans using the input and capabilities from Sales Support Resources, Products and Solutions Specialists

Own and grow business within global accounts (GCC), increase our share of wallet and our gross margin

Act as GCC relay for the region supporting country DBMs to win more with GCC accounts

Utilize selling strategies, sales tools, workplace tools and Steelcase insights to build opportunities within assigned accounts

Utilize insights and execute “plays” to differentiate Steelcase

Drive sales at each account to deliver individual targets and focus on cross selling

Lead and be responsible for the planning and execution of strategy in collaboration with Sales Support Teams, Products Specialists and Design Consultants

Consistently maximize the use of CRM to lead performance and connect with team

Find and develop new businesses through tight collaboration with A&D firms and influencers

Work on assigned A&D accounts to build and grow relationships to help create new leads

Collaborate with Design Consultant to specify Steelcase on new projects with A&D firms

Represent Steelcase within design community and A&D by planning and executing events, roundtables, and other BD activities

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to build long-term working relationships with highly diverse functions in customers’ organization (c-suite, human resources, real estate, purchasing, facility management, trade unions etc.), specifiers (A&D), marketing and product specialists and other relevant partners and dealers as part of a complex sales approach

Excellent public speaking and presentation skills

Good business and cultural awareness

Training and mentoring capabilities

Familiar with statistical data

Proficiency and passion in use of IT supporting tools such as CRM, Outlook calendar, tablets, smartphones, webinars, living on video applications, virtual meeting tools, business applications

Strong interpersonal, oral and written presentation skills

Good levels of organization and time management

Autonomy, flexibility, dedication and teammate qualities will be highly valued.

Education and Experience:

Degree and/or business qualification required

Proficient in English, other languages would be a plus

Sales experience in our industry required

Experience within international organizations, professional experience abroad will be valued.

Experience in the furniture, architecture, and design industry with a multination company
