To be responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the warehouse function.
To provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team.
To plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
To supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
To be responsible for driving Standard Work and ensuring quality processes are implemented to ensure a ‘Right First Time’ product to the customer aligned with their expectation.
To identify errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures
To sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.
To manage Manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles.
To control of Forklift Truck management to ensure full operational capacity and achieve daily targets.
To load vehicles: schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
To ensure 5S housekeeping standards are always maintained.
To organizeand maintaininventory and storage area.
To maintain the management of supplier return packaging.
To record and communicate all shortage issues to the relevant.
To monitor stock levels (when applicable) to highlight minimum and excess levels and therefore prevent part shortages.
To ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
To communicate and collaborate with other team members.
To determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs.
What do I need to be considered for this role
3-5 Year bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Mechanical,Instrumentation or Industrial Engineering.
