Duties & Responsibilities:

System engineer drives customers’ technical engagements from the pre-sales phase to deployment phase. This includes:

Designing enterprise cyber security blue prints+Effectively articulate Trend Micro products advantages and benefits via solid messaging, presentation skills and public speaking.

Preparing and responding to RFIs and RFPs.

Delivering proof of value and proof of concepts successfully

Providing consultative product and solution expertise

Demonstrating and explaining product functionality

Delivering training and consulting on best practices

Installing and configuring Trend Micro solutions

Defining and managing proofs of concept in customer environments for Trend Micro solutions

Identifying system integration requirements and working with Trend Micro professional services and / or outside system integrator partners to deliver integration solutions

Establishing and maintaining a strong and trusted relationships with customers and partners

Working with company technical support personnel to ensure ongoing quality support of support and customer health

Contribute to departmental best practices, strategies, methodologies and documentation for increased efficiencies.

Maintain solid and healthy professional relationships with customers and prospects

Proactively involving in social networking activities to establish connection bonds.



Strong computer network and network security knowledge and skill set (e.g. Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V)
Strong knowledge of enterprise security technologies IDS/IPS, FW, Endpoint security , Data center security and security gateways

Solid understanding of Cloud and cloud cyber security infrastructures

Solid understanding of security operation centers (SOC) environments

Scripting skills knowledge (i.e python, powershell, etc..) is a bonus

Incident response capabilities and abilitieis are a bonus

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is a bonus

Strong communication ability through all organization levels from Senior Executives through System Admins.

Ability tooperate/execute independently

Significant understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies including network, server (Windows & Mac), end-point, and mobile technologies

BS or Master’s degree preferred



7+ years experience in Sales Engineering and/or professional services experience required5+ years experience with Microsoft Windows, and UNIX (Solaris, Linux) Operating Systems5+ years experience in computer software or systems including security products (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, content security)5+ years experience in computer networking environments3+ years experience in operation centers environment or selling to networking and/or security operation centers5+ years experience preferred in or selling to the government or private sector or organizations which support these areas through government or private sector contracts
