Purpose of the position: Position will be responsible for driving manufacturing performance improvement around Safety & People, Quality & Compliance, Reliability and Cost. Position will be leading key initiative around continuous improvement through strategic program driven from Local, Regional and Global level i.e. JJPS deployment, Zero Based Budget, Proactive Quality, Value Stream Projects along with shift operations.Position will also be responsible to drive performance management and Organization Capability& culture through OAC/EO deployment across lines delivering Best-In-Class performance in Make Organization. Key Responsibilities: Safety & People Driver behavior-based safety by proactive good Save reporting & closure IOSS ownership of critical chapters and driving actions for safe behavior Prepare and deploy JSA for all critical activities and timely closure of CAPA Driving the Zero Access Machine Guarding and WRAPS program with support from EHS&S and Maintenance Develop capability of shop floor team through OAC/EO program deployment and regular EO review and support to line leaders Enhance Employee engagement through training program and awareness session for operators and Temp Staff Quality & Compliance Drive the culture of continuous improvement in quality by leading Proactive Quality program at shop floor Ensure Always Audit Ready culture through continuous audits and area readiness Lead INV/NC/CAPA/Audit finding investigation, Documentation and action item on time closure as key CFT member Use of statistical tools & techniques for process capability improvement Reliability & Cost Lead OEE improvement in manufacturing lines by identifying key losses and elimination of the same through proactive reliability management approaches Lead wastages improvement by identifying key wastage area and implementation of sustainable solutions for the same Ensure right manning on shop floor by conducting regular OPE studies and implementation of actions to create new standards Drive agility in manufacturing by leading changeover improvements using SMED principles Continuous Improvement Initiatives: JJPS/ZBB/NPD/NPI Lead Simplification & Standardization in Sanpro through JJPS methodology Work with NPD project lead for new product development, Trials and Validations Collaborate with GME for providing support on Validation and Technical during project execution Process Simplification through Digitization. Skills (applied knowledge and technical skills directly related to this position) Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and understanding of manufacturing processes Knowledge of continuous improvement tool-Lean/Six Sigma and JNJ Production Systems tools and methodology Knowledge of Quality Systems (GMP, ISO9001,14001), INV/NC/CAPA, GDP and Validation process Proficiency with Microsoft office and knowledge of most commonly used software’s like Minitab, Power BI and similar process simplification tools. Experienced in TPM/Lean/Six Sigma processes or equivalent programs desirable GB/BB Lean/Six Sigma Certification desirable Experience: Min 2-4 years functional exposure in Supply Chain.
