Specialist, Prospect Research Operations Job in Delhi, India at Gartner


The Team:

We are looking for a highly analytical and curious Specialist- Prospect Research to join our growing team. This person will be someone who can collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and will be responsible for supporting Prospect Research operations by driving the various initiatives. They will be working towards development of key reports and surfacing of key insights in support of business decision making. The successful candidate will be obsessed with data quality and will have the skills to work closely with Operations and Sales team to champion best practices and ensure that our results are unassailable. Specialist will be responsible to lead and manage sales productivity and growth initiatives using advanced data and analytics solutions which are critical for growth of Gartner Sales teams. He will ensure that associates in the team are able to help Gartner sales force find verified information about prospects across various corporate functions – IT, Sales, Finance, Marketing, HR, Supply Chain etc. which will in turn help Gartner’s sales leaders and associates in becoming more productive and sell more.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and drive the initiatives that support Gartner’s mission critical priorities of improving sales productivity and accelerate new business growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the throughput/ and quality of our services through automation; partner with dev/ IT team to design and implement solutions
  • Develop and evolve metrics and support reporting automation and visualization across TPA and Prospect Research
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across Sales and Operations team
  • Consult with stakeholders to formulate and frame the business questions in the context of business objectives
  • Perform diagnostic analysis to identify operational challenges and promote best practices throughout the processes and organization
  • Support deep-dive analysis to develop insights and present those insights and storylines to key stakeholders in a way that demonstrates impact on the business
  • Embrace and capitalize upon a highly collaborative approach to building great insights, working with talented colleagues to improve upon your ideas and theirs
  • Apply analytical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset to help the functions use analytics to either show immediate impact or to drive continuous service improvement

What you’ll need:

  • Master’s degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in global organization
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) are very critical. This role requires interaction with global leaders regularly and therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills is very important
  • 3+ years of experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify relevant findings
  • Strong ownership, project management and organizational skills with focus on results / timelines
  • Experience communicating complex data through relevant means to senior leaders
  • At least 1-2 year of experience managing projects
  • Experience with Advanced Excel and data visualization tools required
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
  • Experience applying various analytic techniques (segmentation, regression, forecasting, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with Eloqua, Google Analytics, Python / R a plus
  • Exposure to team mentoring and coaching would be preferred
