ASpa Assistant Managerfor the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centreleads all operational aspects of The Spa,outdoor pool andfitness centre. Reports directly to the Director of Roomswhile taking full responsibility to ensure the highest luxury standards are metand to create unforgettable guest experiences. What will I be doing? As a Spa Assistant Manager for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks,in coordination with the Director of Rooms,to the highest standards:
Leading theday to dayoverall operations compromising of the spa, gym and pool services. Manage spa booking system. Ensure accuracy of treatment bookings, reports andmonitor business levels. Manage and carry out procedures, haveup to dateknowledge of spa and wellness developmentsand ensure all spa and fitness services comply withand are delivered in line with thecurrent legislation and company standards and protocols. Ensure client experience exceeds expectations including communication, reservations, payments, and delivery of experience.
Supervising the spa, fitness and poolteam members to ensure high level of motivation and engagement through ongoing training, feedback and development. Drive team to meet and exceed agreed revenue targets through a creative approach to revenue generation, marketing and client interaction. Maximize treatment revenues through treatment schedule yield management. Meeting department monthly and annual budgets by planning effective strategies and communicating daily targets to team members.
Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure continuous service and programme improvement. Instill brand values and standards to maintain quality on daily basis. Liaise with other hotel departments and attend all relevant departmental meetings. Ensure customers and guests receive friendly and consistent personalised service from all team members. Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved. Maintain awareness of department security related to cash, stock and equipment and ensure all department procedures are followed.
Ensure health, safety and COSHH regulations are complied with and club rules are observed by members, clients and guests. What are we looking for? Minimum 3 years’ of supervisoryexperience within the spa industry.
Experience ofspa, fitness and pool operations.
Ability tounderstand, plan, develop and deliver financial targets.
Ability towork under pressure. Excellent grooming standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness todevelop team members and self. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations. It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: : Knowledge of the local market in regards to competitor offerings, projects in development and typical client profiling. Experience in similar role in a luxury hotel in Dubai.
