Senior Security Sales Engineer – ELV Systems Business Unit Job in Muscat, Oman at Confidential Company

Job Description

He will be responsible for developing the Electronic Security solutions system integration business by identifying & partnering with OEMs & selling CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, Command and Control Security System solutions and other related products/solutions to Govt entities, Oil & Gas Companies, Corporates etc., in Oman as specified by the Company. Required to initiate, devise, and plan budgets, monitor the business progress as per the target guidelines, ensure achieving sales target, gross margins targets in accordance with approved budgets.

 

Job Content:

  1. Should possess technical skills to understand how solutions integrate and how to effectively communicate with both technical & non-technical buyers
  2. Should possess the capability to design solution and architecture for Security systems based on customer requirements
  3. Provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to Customers, Consultants, Project execution team and Sub-contractors.
  4. Conduct market research on the upcoming technologies expected to impact the Security business and maintain an understanding of existing account base needs and gaps. Work towards getting upcoming technologies to bridge the gap.
  5. Actively participate and lead customer presentations and systems demonstrations utilizing technical knowledge, sales skills and business acumen to assist in driving opportunities that create growth.
  6. Design and configure technically functional security systems as defined by contract documents / customer requirements. Ability to develop detailed technical approach narratives to include advantages of selected solutions and differentiators to other potential bidders. Should have good knowledge of alternative / equivalent products for the systems that we offer.
  7. Conduct facility on-site assessments and collate all data and documentation required for proposal response.
  8. Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals.
  9. Responsible for selling products & solutions to assigned customers by developing relationships with key managers from different key accounts. Key account mapping including developing relationship with decision makers including CXO levels.
  10. Achieve Orders, Invoicing, Margins & Collections as per the Budget/KRA.
  11. Budgeting, forecasting, reporting & periodic review with BU Head.
  12. Improvement of customer satisfaction through number of customer visits, market share per market segment, new customers / period etc.
  13. Prepare the most adapted offer along with/without pre-sales team to meet the needs of the customer in partnership with the technical support and principals.
  14. Generating leads, Preparation of RFP/Tender response, Queries & Bid closure.
  15. Ensuring that offers being made to customers are in accordance with Company’s policies on margins and profits.
  16. Identify new business opportunities, new products and brands for addition to existing business.

 

  1. Maintain proper database on market information & competitors.
  2. Understand internal business process, regulations and documentary compliances of the company.
