Responsibilities & Duties
Ensure the project and program me contract, cost, quality and time targets are met
Ensure prompt and regular submission of main contract payment applications
Supervise, mentor and encourage all subordinate staff in their personal professional development, welfare, safety competency and disciplinary matters
Build a close relationship with procurement manager to ensure the goals for the distribution area are fully met
Maintain and coordinate all commercial reports required for the successful commercial management of the contract
Ensure all subcontract issues are resolved, coordinating to the General Manager where appropriate
Management of subcontract accounts including interrogation, procurement, payments, variations and final accounts
Liaise with the Project Manager and procurement manager to ensure accuracy of costs, and best practice in material buying
Inspect site for collation of information for monthly statement which includes but not limited to recommendation for subcontractor payment.
Assist the Project Manager to prepare and approve contractor’s final accounts
Report to the General Manager any related issues which is significant to projects accounts and cost control.
Academic & Trades Qualifications
· BSCE graduate or related course, RICs qualified Quantity surveyor. Familiar with FIDIC
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Quantity surveying or related discipline in construction and engineering.
Working Experience & Skills
· Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the same or similar role
· Time management
· Using Microsoft Excel, auto cad, primavera
