Responsibilities:
Preparation of Inspection and Test plan (ITP), MST and other QA/QC documentation as per Scope of work and ensure compliance standard/Specifications.
Ensure the inspection of Materials before acceptance as per ITP and applicable standard/Specifications. Closely Monitoring of site activities and fully coordinates with Project
Manager/Construction manager/Quality Engineers on daily Basis. Coordination with QC Engineers and QC Inspectors for daily inspection plan.
Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents
Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems
Issuance of internal NCRs in case of noncompliance. Closing NCRs issued by Consultant/Client Participating in the internal Quality audit as part of audit team.
Responsible for the daily quality operations of the project with the objective of ensuring that preliminary works are inspected and passed prior to the commencement of next activity
Preparation of Inspection and Test plan (ITP), MST, and other QA/QC documentation as per Scope of work and ensure compliance standard/Specifications.
Coordinating with technical team to get approved shop drawing and material approval (MAR) to use with inspection of work.
To oversee each stage of the project and report to QC manager in order to keep track of and report the progress of the project.
To liaise with the consultant on site in order to ensure that all required inspections as per the ITP are complied.
Coordinating with QC Inspectors for the submission of inspection requests (IR) and Material Inspection Request (MIR) to the consultant for next day inspection.
Coordinating with consultant/clint to work and close the NCRs.
Monitor / witness the required tests on site and review the results in order to confirm its compliance with the specification
To inspect all received materials before using in order to confirm compliance with the approved one and project specifications.
Monitor the received concrete deliveries and concrete pouring activities onsite to confirm its compliance with the specifications.
Supervise the concrete pouring activities onsite
Coordinate with Testing Laboratory Representative (Third party/ ITL) for testing and sampling. Demonstration of curing activities at site
Ensure Standards and requirements are met through conducting QHSE audits To comply with AICC QHSE requirements and ensure he observes HSE risks and mitigate them in his field.
Preparing weekly inspection report (forecast inspection plan) and submitting to consultant.
Education and Experience
Diploma/B.sc in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
7 – 10 years’ experience with same type of work in a reputable construction company or grade – 1 as per contractor’s classifications in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Skills:
Computer literacy & computerized estimating systems.
Familiarity with the plans, specifications and material of construction.
Excellent communication skill
Excellent Coordination skill
Ability to read, write & speak fluently English language & speak understandable Arabic
AutoCAD knowledge is strongly preferred.
