Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:
Getting feedback from reliever.
Take up all the jobs in absence of EAF foreman.
Asking shift engineer/supervisor about the planning for the shift charge mix, furnace gunning time, electrode change/other jobs etc.
Handover the shift with ensuring that:
a) Gunning machine is full & in working position.
d) All equipment’s are running well or informed
e) Furnace is maintained
f) Electrode changes have been taken up
g) Hot heel is maintained
h) Normal process cycle is on
I) Manpower is ok for next shift
J) Housekeeping is well condition
Inform shift Engineer/Supervisor if any abnormality during shift.
No any authority given.
Follow & comply with standard Operating procedures of EAF activities, follow Site Safety Observation SOP’s, follow Company Safety rules regulations & use PPE while working in the plant.
To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
To attend safety trainings planned for them.
Having a right to say “NO” to any unsafe work.
