The Job:
We are looking for a Senior Officer – Procurement to join our Procurement & Contracts team.
Responsibilities:
Provide full-time support to the Procurement Department while ensuring that the process is efficient, fair, and transparent.
Handle all Procurement requests, process Local Purchase Orders/ Contracts, and ensure having the supporting relevant documentation.
Negotiate with suppliers, carry out all Procurement sourcing activities, and prepare Requests for Quotes, price comparisons, award recommendations, and approvals as per Procurement Policies and Procedures.
Ensure compliance with the payment terms.
Follow the approved Procurement Policies and Procedures.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
Professional qualification in Procurement would be advantageous – CIPS
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience while working in UAE
Experience in Procurement activities, sourcing, dealing with service providers/ contractors, and suppliers
Strong communication and negotiation skills
