PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Working in a partnership with Operations, Marketing and Finance, the Director of Revenue Management will coordinate the development of Americana’s revenue impacting activities such as pricing, new products, limited time offers, marketing calendar and investments, key partnerships, discounting or any other activity that may impact the revenue line.
Approval of all marketing and promotional activities. / Financially fully responsible of developing and cascading the revenue budget and forecasts. Sales Reporting Head.
The role reports to Senior Director – FP&A
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Develops and executes the price to consumer strategy for each brand and each territory
Segments pricing by geography, by cluster, by channel and by daytime
Ensures gross margin % increases by executing prices above inflation without affecting transaction growth or average check by managing product mix strategies
Is responsible for Discount Management
Closely monitors competitive pricing and create response plans
Is responsible for Driving Menu & Menu communication ownership: Ensures increased profitability
Is responsible for Final menu boards, websites, apps, and aggregators placing and price communication.
Is responsible for Driving Add-on and upsizing strategy
Is responsible for Category management
Is responsible for Running Decomplexify projects
Approves and coordinates the timing on Marketing activities to ensure positive marketing ROI and avoid cross-brand cannibalization (Approves marketing calendar strategy, Measures the financial impact of the marketing strategy and activities to assess what works and what does not work, LTO / Calendar – Design with Marketing & Approval, Discount Management)
Ensures commercial performance routines are executed and cascaded.
Leads weekly commercial business review
Leads monthly commercial performance updates towards Group, shareholders, and external parties
Leads Sales Reporting by Coordinating development with IT, Coordinates cascading at market level, Development of analysis, deep dives, trends to trigger action across all the commercial organization.
Leads Forecasting process in a monthly and weekly level while mapping risks and pushing for opportunities to increase the top-line or gross margin (Weekly Sales Forecast, Monthly Sales Forecast, Specific and Ad-hoc forecast from product to channel)
Develops and cascades the annual budget, annual sales performance targets.
Develops sales targets to be cascaded towards the entire organization at the most granular level (By Store, By Channel, By Day)
Ensures KPIs are set in accordance with the budget and the commercial strategic priorities
Develops the commercial and sales five-year plan.
Translates and cascades Americana purpose, vision, and strategy execution to the team to instill ownership mindset and motivation to act.
Ensures Americana expectations as regards of tools, resources, systems are rightfully communicated, cascaded for the buy in and adhered to by the team.
Role models compliance with Americana processes, internal policies, code of conduct and core value behaviors.
Is accountable for team performance – coaches, mentors the team for KPIs realization in line with Americana culture.
