About the opportunity & Role Purpose:
We are looking for a passionate Senior Human Resources Manager and CCO to join our team.
Role Purpose:
The role holder is responsible to ensure the Human Resource Department serves as a true business partner by managing the rewards, organizational design, performance management, engagement activities and HR risk & controls management of the organization. This role is expected to develop and promote the HSBC’s employer brand to attract, develop and retain talent through targeted HR initiatives. The role holder also develops, recommends and implements human resource strategy and policy in support of HSBC’s objectives to contribute to the organization’s strategic and operational goal. The role holder is responsible to manage the total rewards frameworks and strategic rewards initiatives. The role holder is responsible to review and developrevise the compensation and mobility policy. The role holder is responsible to manage performance appraisals, bonus calculations and salary reviews. The role holder is also responsible to manage the manage and oversea the overall HR budget and expenses. The roles holder also manages the employee surveys, analysis the survey result, builds and implements action plans. The role holder manages and overseas the overall employee engagement activities.
The role holder is also responsible for driving risk & control assessments and initiatives for the HR function with an aim to ensure that all existing and emerging risks to processes, policies, systems, operations and individual transactions are identified and mitigated to ensure achievement of business objectives. Also, the role undertakes activities to drive an operational risk culture throughout HR while also contributing to reduce the level of operational risks in the organisation through an improved internal control environment
Principal Accountabilities:
Contribute to the formulation of overall HR strategy, policy, procedures and action plans to support the achievement of the company’s strategy and business goals
Develop a strong employer brand, to attract and retain talent, in line with the organization strategy.
Define the performance management system, including goal setting, review process and feedback mechanisms.
Ensure seamless implementation of the performance management system, across the organization.
Ensure objective periodic administration of the performance appraisal process followed by monitoring of feedback implementation for the team.
Articulate the reward philosophy and strategy of the organization.
Define the pay structure, including fixed and variable pay.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Human Resources or equivalent required
Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Human Resources or equivalent preferred
Experience:
7 – 9 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a similar role
Prior experience in all aspects of human resources, governance, policies and procedures is preferred
