Job Description

Supervise and conduct the day-to-day IT end user support operations to resolve reported technical problems, and provide Level 1 support related to software applications, hardware, network and telecommunications systems to assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of defined services in accord with established policies, defined service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.

IT Support & Issue Resolution

 Lead/ conduct investigations on problems routed by IT Services Team requested by the end users and take the necessary action to rectify the situation immediately.  Diagnose system hardware, operating system and system tools problems and resolve issues  Test and evaluate new hardware and software systems  Work closely with the peer IT teams and vendors to meet the team or project goals  Implement policies, rules and regulation relating to computer systems and peripherals equipment  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance schedule on computers, laptops, printers and other authorized peripheral equipment  Perform operational and preventive maintenance by applying Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis, performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resources optimization  Design support solutions for all escalated problems and adjudge requirement of other verticals based on ability and complexity of the task.  Ensure that there is no adverse impact on the end userson the implementation of upgrading, new project(s) or any changes and modification to the system.

Service Level Agreements (SLA’S)

 Ensure the provision of ongoing support of hardware and software applications and systems in line with the SLA terms and agreement, resulting internal customer satisfaction.

User Training

 Lead, organize and conduct training for the users as and when needed to ensure proper knowledge transfer on the technical resolution and maximum utilization and effective usage of the computer systems by all the users.


 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT engineering or equivalent.

 Professional certification related to the assigned specialism.

 8 years relevant IT experience, with involvement in supporting system implementation, and IT Operational Management.

 Strong business and industry knowledge.

 Knowledge on IT product life cycles to meet ROI and profitability expectations.
