Emerson Automation Solution’s Fluid and Motion Control business group is setting new industry standards with unmatched fluid controls and pneumatics, and a suite of global brands, which include Asco, Aventics, Tescom and TopWorx. As we continually seek to diversify our product portfolio in this space, we are currently hoping to engage an accomplished Sales Specialist to grow product sales in a profitable manner to increase our market penetration and to develop our brand recognition in the Medical and Analytical market sectors, within the Middle East & Africa. The Sales Specialist will be expected to coordinate and lead all activities to deliver technical and commercial support to the Sales team across the region. Additionally, you will coordinate required activities with the Business Development Team at a global level.

What will be my responsibilities in this role?

To generate Sales activities alongside the local Sales Team to enable Sales Growth for products and customized solutions, to achieve or exceed Targets

To work in close collaboration with the Machine Automation Business Development Manager for MEA

To drive growth, brand recognition and customer satisfaction in the Machine Automation Segment

To identify Strategic Accounts in MEA. Actively work with Business Development Leaders in Europe and Globally

To develop new opportunities in F&B, Transportation, Renewables, Medical Equipment, Life Science, Digital Transformation – To support local Sales Organization with technology and Market competence

To build a close relationship with other Automation Solution BUs in MEA for pursuing projects and synergies

To actively promote Digital Transformation solutions as key Argument to win new customers and increase penetration by existing ones – To manage the Pipeline of projects in the assigned region

To participate in the preparation of sales and business forecasts, contribute to strategic growth plans

To report the Medical and Analytical Business on a monthly basis/on request with analysis of results in different dimensions e.g. Region, sector, Accounts, products, applications. Regularly track and update annual Plans & objectives

To develop long term, solid relationships with all functions within Customer Organization including Executive level –

To engage in regular meetings or visits with customers either face to face or virtual

To promote a positive global Company image both externally and internally

To provide the leadership to continuously improve a customer-focused culture

What do I need to be considered for this role?

To be considered for this role you should be educated to a bachelor’s degree level in an engineering discipline and have a minimum of five years of experience in an engineering sales capacity. Your experience should encompass the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) products and Solutions, in addition, to being able to demonstrate the ability to grow a profitable business through engaging leadership. Additionally, you will have the ability to manage competing priorities using a proactive and high-energy working style.
