Main duties and responsibilities:
Liaising and building relationships with a range ofstakeholders, e.g. customers, suppliers, colleagues Understanding of the Project salesenvironment, and elements leading to closure of order with thetechnical ability to discuss projects and systems with allcontacts in the sales cycle Identifying suitable project / enquiry opportunities forcompany, to understand key aspects of technical specificationsfor initial review, internal discussion, and provideassistance to Proposals group in preparation ofquotations Carrying outmarket research and customer surveys to assess demand, brandpositioning and awareness Monitoring competitor activity Analyzing pricing positions Creating marketing plans andstrategies Map outpotential customers & competitors Determine unmet needs and market structure(channels) Manages thestrategic aspects of large engagements and mitigates anyrisk Takes a lead role inmonitoring the identification and development of strategicaccounts.
Lends expertiseto internal teams and task forces Compliance with the values of the organization and to allapplicable policies and procedures Candidates mustpossess:
Strong understanding primarily of the Telecoms andSecurity business. Knowledge of Automation, Instrumentation andElectrical would be an added advantage Should have a good experience in providingturnkey solutions in the telecoms and security sectors includinggeneration of system architecture, operationalphilosophies, integration methodologies etc. Should have knowledge of different kinds ofproducts and services available in this sector. The candidate should be able tounderstand various aspects of a client specification and derivesolutions as per client requirement.
