Reporting to: Reward and Human Capital Operations Head
The Reward and Human Capital Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for designing, developing and implementing grading, compensation and benefits structures with an objective of retaining talent and contributing to organizational competitiveness and administering promotion and compensation activities as per the approved framework. In addition, will be responsible for the planning and execution of all employee administrative activities such as personnel files, time and attendance, payroll, reports preparation, leave records and preparing termination/warning letters.
The Senior Specialist is also responsible for supporting more junior staff and providing continuous feedback and support to foster Department improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
Conduct the job evaluation exercise in coordination with the relevant functions and ensure job evaluations are conducted based on a clear job evaluation methodology
Develop a fit-for-purpose grading structure under the guidance of the Reward and Human Capital Operations Head based on the job evaluation results and ensure all positions are mapped to the approved grading structure
Develop and update the compensation and benefits framework, which includes supporting in setting the compensation and benefits strategy and reward philosophy, and conducting the compensation benchmarking to support the attraction and retention of employees.
Support the consolidation of the Human Capital budget in coordination with input from the wider HC team, under the supervision of the Human Capital Director
Support the Reward and Human Capital Operations Head in the development of HC policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and market best practices and in coordination with the wider Human Capital team
Ensure compliance with the HC policies and procedures and providing insight and advice to employees as required
Plan and execute all HC operations activities, including employee onboarding, annual leave balances, end of service allowance, pension provisions, education allowances and the preparation of payroll records and coordinate with Accounting and Financial Control for processing
Support the ongoing update and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) including employee personal data, CV’s, training records, and job descriptions for all employees
Mandatory Requirements- applicants without the below will NOT be considered:
GCC Work experience mandatory
Minimum of 10 years in same or similar role
Multinational company experience/experience in a utilities company
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
