Job Description
The Department of Electrical Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of grid-side control wave energy converters. The research assistant should be knowledgeable of inverter control. The preferred candidate should have demonstrated experience in conducting experiment, simulation and have a master degree in relevant field.
Minimum Qualification
An appropriate educational degree supplemented with documented evidence to support the following:
Skilled in the Matlab programming
Hardware skills in power electronics, especially in inverter control.
Good technical writing skills
Flexible approach and initiative in executing the role.
Preferred Qualification
Demonstrable willingness to support work in the lab
Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands
Commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace
