Key aspects of the role include:
Plan, formulate, test, and evaluate ingredients and raw materials.
Conduct research, present creative ideas and develop new products.
Develop, improve, and customize equipment, products, formulas, analytical methods, and processes.
Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelines.
Write technical results reports, prepare specifications and testing standards.
Refine chemical products to improve their quality.
Maintain lab equipment and troubleshoot or report on malfunctions.
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 year’s relevant experience or master’s degree with minimum 2 year’s relevant experience.
Creative, detailed, organized and resourceful.
Excellent analytical and research skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to travel as required.
