Summary:We are looking for a skilled Regulatory Officer to join our Product Development team in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Global Senior Regulatory & Compliance Manager this position makes a huge impact on the business by providing support for global regulatory compliance across all Huda Beauty brands. We are looking for a star team player with an autonomous, detail-oriented, results-driven working style, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in an entrepreneurial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with Regulatory team (global & regional) to ensure regulatory tasks and responsibilities are executed for all Huda Beauty brands
Lead on regulatory topics for new product development across Huda Beauty Brands, including (but not exclusively):
Global formula screening for global compliance
Ingredients lists, Regulatory labelling requirements and artwork reviews
Organizing and validating product claims
Liaising with product development and other global teams to ensure all regulatory elements are captured during development and execution
Support Customer Services with all product inquiries & adverse events
Support on sustainability projects for all Huda Beauty brands
Ensure regulatory tasks and responsibilities pertaining to any relevant certifications for all Huda Beauty brands are executed within timelines
Continue to build and maintain the Product Information Files (PIF) for all products
Help continue to drive process improvement within the Regulatory & Compliance department
Assist with drafting and obtaining signatures on letters where needed
Manage confidential information with high discretion and demonstrate the highest levels of service and response time
Stay abreast of global cosmetic regulatory updates
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Scientific/Chemistry based, Cosmetic Science or similar technical discipline) – not mandatory but preferable
1-2 years’ experience in a scientific or regulatory role, to perform detail orientated, data collection and analysis preferred
Experience with cosmetic regulations in the EU, MENA & APAC – not mandatory but preferable
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, Adobe and Social Media Web Platforms
Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mindset
Strong organisational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate, build relationships with stakeholders, including internal & external partners and stakeholders
