In Food People, a Recruitment Researcher creates and develops strong networks across the F&B landscape, cultivating talent and managing robust recruitment processes. This person will work closely with Consultants to deliver exceptional service and reach financial targets.
You must have a passion for food and enjoy talking to people. The majority of your role will be on the phone, as well as meeting people face to face, and therefore you should get a kick out of building rapport with people from all corners of the world and building meaningful relationships.
It’s not easy, and there will be days that really frustrate you. Sometimes people won’t get back to you, a candidate might reject an offer, or a client may completely change a brief and decline your favourite applicant. This is just part of the recruitment rollercoaster, and you should have the resilience to take this in your stride and move forward.
Work with the recruitment team to develop a sourcing strategy for each position / project / market
Think outside of the box with new research techniques and source talent differently
Source active and passive candidates for highly specialised roles
Actively meet with candidates and maintain a high level of contact
Client engagement, when required, to provide timely updates and regular communication
Consistently manage and regularly hit deadlines, transparently communicating with the Management team
Able to close candidate offers without support
Capture relevant information from industry professionals to enable you to be consultative and demonstrate how they could add value to a business
Co-ordination and scheduling of interviews
Track, manage and report on candidate pipelines for current and future positions
Effective pipeline management to efficiently move candidates through the recruitment process and to build the talent pool outside of live roles
Strong CRM compliance.
Strong time management and organisation skills
Outgoing and willing to push yourself outside of your comfort zone
Think fast and be able to react to change
Team player who enjoys collaboration
Enjoys talking to people and holds exceptional listening skills
Problem-solving and the ability to deal with pushbacks
Be resilient and have a positive mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications, along with Applicant Tracking Systems.
