Your day today
The Front Desk Agent is often the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us. To deliver a great guest experience – a Front Desk Agent will check in and out guests efficiently, and make sure they have all they need for a great stay.
Under the general direction of the Front Office Manager or her/his delegate, and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group HI brand and local policies and procedures, responsible for all activities relevant to the Front Desk. Tasks include check-in/out, rooming of all hotel guests, foreign exchange, cashiering, Enrolling IHG rewards and Credit Follow up. Ensures efficient running of Front Desk operations; highest standards of hospitality are demonstrated on every occasion.
What we need from you
Ideally, the candidate must possess previous work experience in a Front Office environment in a five-star hotel/resort or equivalent. Proficiency in Opera is preferred, as a team player and have strong verbal and communication skills. must be customer-oriented and is flexible to work in various shifts. Arabic / English language speaker is an advantage.
