About the Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator
The Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator is a partnership between 500 Global and Sanabil Investments with a vision to create an integrated, sustainable global new economic platform for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering new ways for growth and prosperity in an era of change. The program aims to support building the MENA region’s entrepreneurship ecosystem by supporting some of the best startups and entrepreneurs throughout Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.
The accelerator is a 12-week program that leverages 500 Global’s tried and true world-class curriculum for Pre-Seed/Seed-Stage founders, focusing on fundamentals of growth and experimentation. The program offers founders international mentorship and an equity investment.
What You Will Do
This role will be a key support role in delivering a successful accelerator program. You will be responsible for the daily success of the program, creating a positive experience for all participants. Responsibilities will range from community management to logistical support. You will report to the Program Manager responsible for the overall program and account management.
This role is a learning opportunity for an aspiring Accelerator Manager to get hands-on experience. You will be responsible for performing administrative duties, supporting both in-person and virtual events, day-to-day management, and sharing and collecting information with program participants. You will be interacting with founders, mentors, and other program stakeholders on a daily basis.
This position is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia starting immediately. The role will have a 4-month probationary period. You will be expected to be available at all accelerator and event times scheduled for the duration of the program – whether remote or in-person.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Participate in weekly syncs with the accelerator team
Conduct outreach and help support the team to recruit startups for the program
Coordinate and oversee management of day-to-day logistics, at instruction from the Program Manager
Support in sharing and consolidating information to facilitate onboarding participants and mentors to the program
Coordinate and manage Office Hours between the mentors and the founders/startups
Plan and execute virtual and in-person social events for the batch
Send weekly batch emails and Slack messages (updates, housekeeping, next week’s events, new mentors, various deadlines, etc)
Update internal documents and tools for regular reporting and visibility
Assist in prep and delivery for Demo Days, working with the startups, partners and vendors as needed
Assist in note taking, saving files, and keeping the team organized at all times
Support the Program Manager in all aspects of the program
Manage the VIsa issuance process for staff, founders and partners with Ministry of investment ( from receiving the request all the way to making sure that founders have landed in Saudi)
Manage the full experience of mentors and founders on the ground
