As Product & Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for you will be responsible for the full commercial customer End2End process and act as the vital link between our customers, factories, service and external sales colleagues.
The role reports to the Sales Manager – MEA, HEX Division.
Job Responsibilities
The key tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following
Supporting all aspects of sales process- Technical and commercial
Prompt handling of customer inquiries to provide superior customer experience
Review of customer specification and schedule
Design & configuration of different types of plate heat exchangers.
Preparation of quotations for capital equipment and spare parts with appropriate pricing in accordance with division guidelines and authorization matrix.
Preparing technical compliance and submittals for consultant/ client/ contractor approvals.
Participate in bid clarification meetings.
Provide design and pricing support to distributors
Coordinating lead time requests with our heat exchange manufacturing facilities.
Providing technical support on trouble shooting and product related issues to customers and internal stakeholders.
Handling technical claims from customers
Organizing and delivering technical presentations or training to colleagues/ customers/ partners
Visiting customers with external sales engineers to discuss technical aspects of projects/ quotations.

A self- starter who is hard working
Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering
2- 4 Years of experience.
Candidates with previous experience in doing thermal and hydraulic designs of equipment and experience in handling plate heat exchangers will be advantageous
Clear understanding of value selling is an important success factor
Desirable to have experience in CRM tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build a relationship quickly and effectively
Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
Good commercial awareness
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Proficiency in MS Office Applications
Fluent in English
Works independently with minimum supervision
Is a team player and collaborates well with others in a matrix organization
