This position will be responsible for ensuring that the region assigned is fully supported through procurement transactional and strategic activities related to the Chemical category in the Oil and Gas Upstream Sector. The position will require previous experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and chemicals. What’s in it For You:

What You Will Do:
Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees, and supports the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improve the plant’s safety, health and environmental performance, security, design, development, manufacture, storage, marketing, distribution, use and ultimate safe disposal of chemical products. Drive culture of safety;
Report safety observations / incidents Supports and is committed to the Quality Improvement Process. Plans strategies to ensure error-free work by “doing it right the first time” and conveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties, in our drive continuous improvement Conduct strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives, including fact-based negotiations (supplier and industry analysis, benchmarks, cost structure analysis) and contract negotiation and finalization for locally managed categories, ensuring process compliance and high levels of customer satisfaction Supervise procurement projects and activities delivered by the procurement teams in the sub-region and their compliance to the Procurement policy and alignment to the regional strategy Support regional strategic sourcing initiatives or projects Implement and execute regional and global initiatives Define supplier management strategy in alignment with regional procurement, and execute strategic supplier relationship management with key local suppliers Implement vendor performance for the top critical vendors in the sub-region:

create a performance scorecard, set up Governance forum and enhance the current contracts by introducing the KPI, the SLA and service credit Ensure contract coverage achievement for the sub-region Works with the business to address questions & needs surrounding suppliers, markets, materials, and services Review and approve procurement related documents (contracts and contract summary, POs, Brief, saving validation, …) Creates management presentations, spend reports & KPI´s Implement regular meetings with the business to ensure updates on on-going projects and new projects Ensure cost target achievement per country and for the Sub-region Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training

Minimum Educationand


Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent Chemical Engineer or Chemist or prior experience working in Chemical industry is preferred Certifications like PMP, MCIPS, CSCP would be an advantage Minimum of 2 years’ experience …
