Manage the purchase of goods, services, and supplies against orders and stock received from customers.
Procure materials and other supplies for ongoing projects.
Negotiate with suppliers; raise LPOs, and expedite purchase orders.
Check that payment claims are in accordance with the terms and conditions before payments are made
Ensure that the company’s procurement policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
Manage contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages, and insurance.
Coordinate, communicate, and follow up on the project’s purchase orders, delivery status, and delivery deadlines.
Review and establish project procurement progress schedule & share with project team on a weekly basis and/or whenever required.
Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
Ensure possession of correct material specifications & approvals from client/engaged parties.
Ensure that all Material Requests are purchased and delivered on time.
Ensure that all Purchase Orders are acknowledged by the vendors.
Maintain a proper record of all work activities, inquiries, and correspondence.
Establish and manage relationships with suppliers and Keep track of their information, such as qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges, as well as updating it as necessary.
Ensure coordinating with suppliers for accurate delivery updates.
Identify and evaluate prospective suppliers.
Maintain relationships with existing freight forwarders and obtain the best rate from different forwarders.
Coordinate Check collection
Send requests for quotations to suppliers, prepare proposals and transmittals, and reports.
Ensure received and approved supplier/contractor quotations comply with all material and BOQ specifications
Support inquiries and tenders and make sure they get done.
Any other activities as required by Management.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement and logistics is required.
ADNOC experience will be a big plus
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are required.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other ERP software is required.
Should be able to join immediately.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: AED3,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
