Responsibilities:
· Should be able to source new vendors for each product category and can prepare cost sheets to understand the margins of the product
· Should be able to prepare and release RFP’s for each product category
· Responsible to ensure warehouse stock and physical stocks checks are done on a monthly basis and all stocks items tally
· Procure components, raw materials and other production supplies at the optimum balance of price, quality, and service to satisfy business requirements.
· Obtain and negotiate competitive quotes and analyze quotes based upon price, specifications, and supply performance
· Execute analyses of local supply sources for the national and international procurement market. Acquisition of supplier and market information in supplier conversations, feedback of product centers, contact with purchasing offices
· Prepare a selection of capable vendors. Execution of RFPs based on Product/technical specifications
. Comparison and evaluation of quotations in consideration of the local/International procurement strategy
· Execute inquiries from other regions as per the agreed timelines with suppliers
