Job Purpose:
The desired role of Associate Director – Private Banking is a key front-line position with at least 6-8 years of strong experience in the field to grow and pave the way in establishing Emirates NBD Private Banking as a credible Private Bank in KSA and the greater GCC area. The position demands astute relationship management skills and the ability to learn from more experienced peers to initiate, grow and maintain quality relationships of Ultra High Net Worth and Family Offices in KSA. The ideal candidate will perform the below tasks:
Self-Motivation, Agility and Responsiveness to proactively service discerning clientele, is key in this role.
Open-minded approach to learn and pivot, as per guidance from senior management and peers, to provide optimum solution to clients.
Be a true ambassador of the unit both for internal and external stakeholders, while imbibing the bank’s values and ethics in day-to-day dealings.
Serve as an advisor from the Private Bank, trusted to understand the client’s private banking & wealth management needs and aspirations, while keeping in mind the bigger picture of a long-standing, profitable and amicable relationship.
Work with your team seniors/leaders to explore new relationships, grow and maintain them, while showcasing the Bank as the trusted institution to manage their wealth.
Constantly explore and offer personalized Investment Solutions suiting client’s risk/return profile, by leveraging the expertise of Investment Advisors and the CIO Office.
Work collaboratively, while liaising with other departments within the Bank via Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset Management to provide optimum investment avenues to help grow/manage your clients’ portfolio.
Regularly conduct quarterly account reviews in liaison with the allocated Investment Advisor and devise Investment Proposals as result of the review.
Build a strong offshore & onshore Lombard Lending book by providing customized credit and lending solutions
Adhere to controls on operational and administrative services, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Effective management of client expectations to be articulated while detailing the bespoke needs of the clients.
Person Specification:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or any related field.
6-8 years of Private Banking experience.
Banking and relationship management background is essential.
