ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilitiesReporting to the Data Team Manager, your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Functional
Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions for the application, according to business requirements in UNIX and Windows environments.
Develop PL/SQL store procedures, packages, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and data loading (ETL).
Work with advanced features of PL/SQL like collections, nest table, ref cursors, materialize views, and dynamic SQL.
Develop load processes and data warehouse integration ETL procedures.
Develop PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically based on user inputs.
Create database tables, create various DB queries, and assist in data mapping/testing activities in support of project.
Detail and problem-solving oriented in ETL, jobs, and addressing production issues such as performance tuning and enhancement.
Knowledge on any BI reporting is advantage.
Extensively worked with third-party database tools like TOAD & PL/SQL Developer.
Skills And Attributes For Success
The yardsticks of your performance would include cost savings achieved, quantum of customer reported defects, adherence to policies, procedures & quality standards, number of daily tests executed, and customer NPS.
Qualifications
To qualify, you must have
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in application development using Oracle Databases
Ideally, candidate has Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) certificate.
