1. Job Purpose

Monitor & support the performance cycle annually and facilitate the performance management process.

To be the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to performance management.

Close interaction with employees, especially support categories, to implement the performance cycle successfully.

2. Key Accountabilities

Follow up the performance processes for all categories of employees according to the existing technical system.

Ensure performance cycle phases (set objectives – mid-year review and end-year review) are completed as required and on time.

Collect forms and ensure that it’s filled as required with all the necessary approvals and followed Sharjah Co-op’s policies and procedures.

Visit the branches regularly to communicate effectively with the employees, especially the support category, and respond to their inquiries.

Conduct indicative training courses for employees to raise awareness of the importance of performance management and simplify information, which will increase productivity.

Read & understand the Performance Management Guideline, which contains all information and tasks related to the performance management system.

Assist employees in defining individual goals as SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, at a specific time) aligned with the Sharjah Coop overall objectives and specify weights to each goal to prioritize.

Assist managers/employees in aligning the objectives with the balanced scorecard categories.

Guide managers to evaluate their employee’s performance during the year and compare that with the expected performance and the level of achievement of key performance indicators.

Maintain all relevant records and update them when necessary.

Research best practices in human performance and develop ideas/uses for the technology.

Prepare reports that provide well-informed information on all performance management achievements and mid-year / yearly results.

Perform any other related duties assigned by the line manager.
