Job Description
Ford Motor Company, Dubai Branch, is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join its legal department in supporting the company’s legal needs in the Middle East region.
The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to provide legal assistance and administrative support on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to contracts, litigation, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
Role & Responsibilities
-Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
-Conduct legal research on various issues and prepare reports for attorneys.
-Support attorneys in managing litigation matters, including document collection and review, case file organization.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
-Visiting government departments for legal administration tasks.
-Provide administrative support to the legal department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining department records.
-Assist in maintaining corporate governance documentation and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
-Manage and organize legal department files and maintain the department’s electronic databases.
-Assist with other legal department tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field.
1-3 years relevant experience practicing a legal job.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and external parties in both English and Arabic.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
