Title: Operations Director – FM Consultancy
To provide highly visible and comprehensive leadership for all aspects of the FM consultancy business across all global activities and opportunities. Ensure that all elements of the FM consultancy business are aligned with and are complimentary to the overall Mace objectives.
This role can be based in KSA, UAE and UK.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Ownership (development, agreement and delivery) of long, medium and short-term business strategy for all FM Consultancy services globally.
Financial performance (£3.9m Revenue and £0.9m EBITDA) globally and individual component / regional level.
Developing the market-facing image of the FM consultancy business, ensuring that a reputation for innovation, quality, value and client focus is maintained.
Providing direct line-management responsibility for a team of associate directors (currently five) and indirect management of their direct reports.
Setting, maintaining and continuously enhancing the team culture, driving consistent collaboration, a focus on growth, excellence in service and commercial focus.
New business leadership, identifying opportunities, providing clear solutions and commercial proposals to clients (for larger opportunities), guiding and overseeing solutions and commercial proposals to clients (for smaller opportunities), leading negotiations into contractual agreements.
Ensuring that all new client mandates are correctly set-up in accordance with corporate quality management controls and that approval levels are adhered to.
As a member of the operate senior leadership team. Representing the FM consultancy business and drive opportunities for collaboration and support with other groups within the business.
Providing thought leadership and best practice advice, across the full range of FM services, to both clients and in-house teams including collaboration with the centre of excellence.
Providing regular, up to date reporting on current mandates, new business activity and financial performance.
As a facilities management consultant you will ideally have the following qualifications and experience. Ideally degree qualified or equivalent qualification in a related subject or appropriate experience within a consultancy role.
