Job Description

The job holder is the responsible for all activities linked to OMC preparation and execution follow up with the support of onshore and offshore teams. The job holder reports to the OMC coordinator and OMC steering committee. Responsible for collection of all necessary information needed to ensure an efficient planning preparation and then an accurate follow up of the implementation. Liase with other engineering disciplines to foresee all processes: Materiel procurement/availability Required survey at site and/ or in vendor premises. Sorting and quality control to be perform onshore before materiel is sent offshore in due time Identified the support needed (temporaries, third party, vendor assistance, scaffolding…) Implementation steps and corresponding quality controls The corresponding micro planning Preparation the corresponding work pack. Liaise with site teams to ensure timely completion of work pack. Provides assistance to Campaign project controls leader. Preparation Phase: Coordinate the work pack preparation Interface between disciplines and onshore/offshore teams in order to collect the required information Organise and/or perform the necessary site survey (scope clarification) Meeting: Participate to the weekly OMC preparation meeting Report to OMC coordinator with regards to main technical issue, area of concern, progress, quality etc… propose mitigation measures when drift is noticed. Feed the planning team in order to consolidate the schedule. Ensure that the program and corresponding priorities are understood and shared by all parties. Participate in setting up a robust organisation for materiel handling before sending it offshore (sorting, certification and quality check. Execution Phase: Daily progress reporting Ensure that defined scope priorities are followed Coordinate overall job readiness Ease Management Of Change process when needed Relay messages from/to onshore/offshore Ensure that each task completion is properly recorded (work pack, work order, notification closure) Involve himself in safety aspects of the campaign and report any anomalies noticed on site. Propose remedial action. Assist planning team with review of possible changes, planning constraints, slippage etc.… Gives input for the weekly reporting Close out Phase: Preparation of close out report summarising overall progress and corresponding explanations. Helps in feedback session preparation and restitution. Properly close all work pack. Requirements Engineer qualification, hold an internationally recognized professional / chartered engineer status. Minimum 10 years in construction and shut down campaign supervision for Oil & Gas offshore industry. Previous work experience in intensive work campaign in offshore premises is required with a good knowledge of work pack and permit to work systems. Dynamism, openness, team spirit, multiculturalism. Fluency in English, strong management and communications skills.
