Job Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing the network infrastructure within Farah. And to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure in order to provide maximum performance for Farah users. The job scope includes:
Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks
Support administration of network devices
Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices
Plan and support network and computing infrastructure
Document network problems and resolution for future reference
Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning
Oversee network security
Provide strong expertise in Information Security support including compliance driven initiatives to ensure the network technology meets industry standards.
Perform network vulnerability scanning using utility tools, responsible for monitoring logs for system and network anomalies including identifying and partnering with the necessary teams to reach consensus on remediation to allow for business continuity.
Support IP telephony (Cisco , Ribbon) and MS Teams.
Provide, design and documentation of Network Test plans, recommendations, assessments and evaluations
To be considered for this role, you need to have
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
5+ years’ experience of Managing Network Infrastructure and Operation
Cisco Certified Network Professional in routing and switching, CCNP R&S
Juniper Network Certified Associate, JNCIA
Experience in SD-WAN Architectures and providers.
Experience in Authentication methodologies, including 2FA, RADIUS, LDAP, AD.
Solid understanding of IP Routing: BGP, OSPF, Static, Network Address Translation.
Network Security capabilities: IPS/IDS, Malware, Zone Based Firewalls and sandboxing.
Experienced in AAA and posturing and Cisco ISE/ Forescout.
Experienced in multi-vendor Firewalls and policy optimization (Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto).
Experience in Cisco ACI and able to build/implement micro segmentation scenarios.
Experience in SDN.(Software Defined Networks)
Experience in managing Cisco switches and Cisco ACI.
Experience in managing web proxy and load balancers (LTM, GTM, WAF, and APM).
Hands on experience in Wireless infrastructure. Cisco WLC/ CMX.
Experience in reporting and management of network and Cisco Prime.
Experience in Cyber security and strong in defining use cases.
